About Us
In June 2020, Support 502 Blue was formed by a small group of concerned citizens in the Louisville Ky area, with the intention of helping distribute locally donated snacks, drinks and other items, in response to the increasing criticism of police departments and the calls to de-fund them. This small group very quickly acquired a continuously growing and devoted membership who stands united behind our heroes in blue.Within the first month of its formation, Support 502 Blue partnered with the Louisville Metro Police Foundation, a registered 501c3 company, operating our group within the guidelines and under the umbrella of the LMPF.In the years following the initial formation of the group, Support 502 Blue, with the help of its active membership, collected and donated goods with a value of over $50,000, delivered to all eight divisions of the Louisville Metro Police Department, and to their specialty units.
